Scheduled Cloud Maintenance
Dear Customers,

We are writing to inform you of a scheduled maintenance window within our entire cloud infrastructure during the following period:

START: Sunday 19th March 2017 @ 22:00 GMT
END : Monday 20th March 2017 @ 03:00 GMT

During the above maintenance window, we will be updating the cloud platform to provide new features, extra stability and fix various bugs. This is the last version where an offline upgrade is required and as such any subsequent upgrades will be seamless.

All virtual servers on each portion of the cloud network will be powered down, their hypervisors upgraded and all hypervisors rebooted in succession to pick up the new storage software and virtualisation software.

Once the upgrade has been completed, we will start bringing virtual servers back online and validate their integrity via a strict auditing process.

We understand that this process will affect customers services. We have however scheduled this for what we have ascertained is the quietest period on our network.

We would also like to state that the above time period is not the total outage period. We cannot refine an outage period due to the complexity of the works, however we do not estimate services will be impacted for more than an hour. If this is unfortunately the case then we will communicate effectively with customers via email.

Scheduled Cloud Maintenance
As an update, the maintenance is going smoothly and to plan. There was a small delay as one of the machines didn't come back up cleanly but as we are on site this was dealt with swiftly.

Scheduled Cloud Maintenance
Cloud servers are now being booted back up. Each hypervisor is being done in turn so will take a little while longer for all servers to boot.
