Urgent server migration tonight 02/07/2020
We are planning an urgent migration of this server tonight (June 2nd) to better hardware to resolve the server issues experienced. The exact time of the switchover cannot be confirmed until more of the data has been moved across, but it will happen sometime around 20:00. On the run up to this migration there will be some disruption to services (mail, FTP, MySQL) but we will attempt to keep these to a minimum. However some disruption is needed in order to maintain data integrity while the changeover happens. We will update this announcement when the migration is happening, and when it is complete.

Just an update on this, the first pass at the data transfer was completed sometime ago, we will give 10-15 minutes warning before we start the final pass as this will involve stopping some services to ensure data integrity.

Sorry for the extended downtime, there was an issue on the old francis server but we've now resolved this and barring one account, the service should now be restored. We are still working through the post migration checklist and will update this once complete.
