| A distributed attack on the login pages of several WordPress sites on the server at once caused the MySQL database to be overloaded, which in turn caused the server to run out of memory while other processes were waiting for access to the database. We've put measures in place to mitigate the issue in future, and will continue to monitor it closely for any signs of further problems. |
