| Maintenance window : 23-5-2019 20:00 – 23-5-2019 22:00. Sorry for the lack of notification, due to a recent cpanel security notification and disclosure, the following maintenance is required to maintain security of your server and continued updates. This is a notice of an “at-risk” period of maintenance. We do anticipate there will be service-affecting disruption of around 15-20 minutes while this work is being performed, we will try to keep this to a minimum. We need to perform important software updates and maintenance on this server to ensure the continued service and security of this server. Basic summary of the work and expected disruption: Apache/PHP will be updated, Apache from 2.2 to 2.4 and PHP will be kept on the main major version (eg: 5.4.x), latest build available. Any secondary stacks will be changed from the custom compiled PHP 5.4+ to EA4 PHP supplied and will allow changing of PHP versions via Cpanel -> MultiPHP Manager, once the custom .htaccess AddHandler are removed. Cpanel will be updated which will cause brief POP3/IMAP unavailability and MySQL restarts during updates. Some additional considerations with regards to Apache 2.2 to 2.4 Changes: FilterProvider syntax changes, using the old syntax will cause an Error 500: Apache 2.2 example: FilterProvider COMPRESS DEFLATE resp=Content-Type #$application/javascript` Apache 2.4 example: FilterProvider COMPRESS DEFLATE "%{CONTENT_TYPE} = 'application/javascript'"` Once the maintenance is complete, please check through your sites and make sure they are working and if you have any issues please open a support ticket. |

| The apache/php update is done, we are proceeding with the cpanel update. Once that is done we will do any further changes required for secondary PHP stacks if applicable. |
