We're still investigating this issue - it could be a hardware problem so we're looking through the system carefully to try to determine if there is a root cause that we may be missing. We will endeavour to get sites on this server running at normal speed as soon as we can.

Unfortunately we are still experiencing issues with the Gallagher machine and requires a full reboot. This can take between 5 and 10 minutes to complete fully. Please bear with us and apologies for any inconvenience caused.

We have resolved the problem with Gallagher. This was traced to a malfunction in the RAID controller which we have resolved with a firmware patch. We don't envisage any further problems as a result of this. We apologise for the slowness of the server while this was in progress. It was a very difficult issue to properly diagnose. Thanks for your patience.
